  1. You should be reading Blogging the Middle East, written by a Beiruti blogger. It’s excellent reading & gives you a bird’s eye view of what its like within the Lebanese maelstrom.

    Chances are you’ll find some of his heat & anger disturbing or distressing. But that, at least to me, is a good thing because we should be more disturbed generally than many of us actually are.
